Alexa Ray Joel, 23, was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital in NYC Saturday and is reported to be in stable condition after a possible drug overdose.

"She was admitted, and doctors are assessing the situation," her rep tells Usmagazine.com. "We have no further comment."

According to the New York Post, she allegedly ingested a large number of sleeping pills in what police consider a suicide attempt.

Alexa's roommate called police just before 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
